United States children rights are being violated in states like Missouri and Maine ("Missouri, Maine Declare").The National Consumer League which was formed in 1899 to prevent immoral acts inflicted on children while working in the United States. The NLC Is concerned deeply to the ill effects of children being overworked will have on today’s children ("Missouri, Maine Declare"). Issues that young youths are faced with, like more hours of work cuts into their academic learning and being over worked and under paid ("Missouri, Maine Declare").

Millions of Americans support the (NCL) and the (CLC) and oppose the new laws that Missouri legislation and Maine which to change.

Laws like these that require children to be inspected due their age will lifted, which is for their safety. Children should not be over work there are adults who are unemployed who need jobs right now and more labor hours pushed on children should be vacated.

Children would be forced to work 24 hour weeks instead of 20 which is currently now the required time allowed.

("Missouri, Maine Declare"). The legislation is also thinking of violating the right of all high school children the right to protest against minimum wage which is $5.15 and plan to keep it that way for years to come. ("Missouri, Maine Declare").

Help stop people like Missouri's Senator Cunningham and Representative David Burns (R - Whiting) who support children being overworked and under paid.
